These terms and conditions apply to agreements between Askin AS (reg. no. 917 881 456) and its customers.

Description of the Service

These terms apply to the video consultation service provided by Askin. Customers book an appointment for a video consultation via the website. Payment is made electronically at the time of booking. Secure login provides access to the customer area on Askin's website, where customers are required to complete a health information form (anamnesis) before their appointment. The video consultation is conducted using a modern web browser on a PC, tablet, or mobile phone. Dermatologists, who are medical specialists in skin diseases, provide diagnoses, EEA prescriptions, and treatment recommendations based on the exchange of information via images, text, and video.
Our dermatologists adhere to professional healthcare standards and operate in compliance with health legislation.
This service is not intended for emergencies. In urgent situations, please contact emergency services.

Requirements for the User

To use the video service, users must have access to a modern web browser on a PC, tablet, or mobile phone. Secure login is required, along with payment. Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information to ensure appropriate healthcare.

Consultations for Minors

Guardians may submit consultations on behalf of minors. For minors aged 16 or older, their active participation in the video consultation is required.

Order

To use Askin’s video consultation service, customers must book an appointment via the website. This involves selecting an available time in the calendar, logging in, and completing the payment. An order confirmation is sent to the email address provided.

Price

Video consultations at Askin cost €150.

Processing Time

Video consultations typically last up to 15 minutes. Prior to the consultation, customers must complete a health information form. Dermatologists may require additional time after the consultation to update records, issue prescriptions, or complete other follow-up tasks.

Cancellation Fee

Appointments can be canceled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time, and the full amount will be refunded within 7 working days. Appointments canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time are non-refundable.

Right of Withdrawal

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment are non-refundable. Services already performed cannot be canceled or refunded.

Deleting a User Account

To delete your user account, contact us. Please note that account deletion does not automatically remove personal data. Refer to our Privacy Policy for information on data processing.

Liability

Users are responsible for ensuring that their equipment (PC, tablet, or mobile phone) is functional, including cameras, speakers, and microphones. Askin is not liable for service errors caused by customer equipment or software issues (e.g., outdated browsers). Askin is not responsible for security breaches, viruses, or circumstances beyond its control (force majeure), despite implementing reasonable security measures.

Abuse of the Service

Misuse of the service, such as unauthorized access, spreading viruses, or violating copyright laws, is prohibited. Abuse may result in account suspension and liability for financial damages to Askin.

Change of Terms

Askin reserves the right to update these terms.

Complaints About Health Services

If you believe your patient rights have not been upheld, you have the right to file a complaint. Please contact us directly with any concerns.

Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably must be addressed through legal action in the Oslo District Court.
