Askin is a dedicated digital healthcare service specializing in dermatology. Our team consists of expert dermatologists—doctors who focus on diagnosing and treating skin conditions. At Askin, you can consult with us conveniently in two ways: through a photo consultation or a video consultation.
Anyone with a skin condition—whether minor or severe—can receive expert care from our dermatologists.
Can I get a prescription from the dermatologists?
Yes, we prescribe a digital EEA-prescription or recommendation for OTC medication. Please check at your local pharmacy if they accept EEA-prescription. Read more about EEA prescription below.
What is an EEA prescription?
An EEA prescription is a medical prescription issued by a healthcare professional within a country in the European Economic Area (EEA), which includes EU member states plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway. These prescriptions can be used across EEA countries, allowing patients to obtain their prescribed medications at pharmacies in the mentioned countries. EEA prescriptions can also be dispensed in the UK.
It's always a good idea to check with the pharmacy beforehand to ensure they can dispense the medication using an EEA prescription.
Photo Consultation: Simply upload pictures of your skin concern along with a description. Our dermatologist will review your case and respond within 24 hours.
Video Consultation: Speak directly with a dermatologist through a video call using your web browser. Just schedule an appointment at a time that suits you.

Can follow-up consultations with the dermatologist be done over time?
Yes, follow-up consultations are available and optional. These allow us to review your consultations over time, ensuring optimal treatment and close monitoring by the dermatologist. A follow-up consultation is priced the same as the initial consultation.
How quickly will I receive an answer from the dermatologist?
With a photo consultation, you will receive an answer from the dermatologist within 24 hours (working days). Video consultation is based on an appointment.
